KMWA undertook this project where by donation are collected and supplies of emergency food is purchased and consignments are taken to Calais kitchens, these charities cook meals for the refugees and they are fed once a day. Allhumdulillah we are about to do our 4th consignment to Calais just before Ramadan.
This is only possible because community in Medway is able to donate heavily and we are able to take the supplies to Calais.
We have a charity partner called Shoaib Relief Campaign who have guided us to collect and directed us to Calais. We continue to work together and buy using maximum of funding’s power to purchase supplies.
Inshallah we are to continue this project until end of Ramadan.
