Short Term Priorities Announcmed

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, dear brothers and sisters,

Alhamdulillah, by the grace and mercy of Allah, we were blessed to raise £2,555 total this Friday!
(£2290 New Masjid , £265 Masjid)

A heartfelt Jazakum Allahu Khayran to each and every one of you for your generosity, kindness, and unwavering support.

As I mentioned on Friday KEY SHORT TERM PRIORITIES ARE :

  1. Get the financial Audit completed
  2. Maintenance and upkeep of the current masjid building
  3. Preparations for Ramadhan
  4. Continuing Fund Raising for the New masjid

There’s a lot more but thats for another time !

As I settle down and listen to the communities voice we will do a lot more In Shaa Allah together and have it all synced up with a vision !

None of that happens without actions and responsible people driving those actions !

As I asked on Friday and I ask again here if you are a a builder, plumber, lawyer, accountant, company professional or any experienced person or any Volunteer who maybe able to help in any capacity and can give your time and most importantly a consistent action driven commitment to the benefit of the masjid to progress it .
WE NEED YOU AND YOUR IDEAS SO COME FORWARD WITH SOLUTIONS NOT JUST COMPLAINTS !

I will listen to everyone and take on board what we can to move forward in a good way together with the community and the Board of Trustees (BOT) and Coordinators إن شاء الله

Please introduce yourself to me ,
I would love to hear from you !

Jazāk Allāhu Khayran.

May Allah fill your lives with barakah, accept your efforts, and reward you with the very best in this world and the Hereafter.

آمِيْنُ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْن

New Chairman Announcement

Assalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuh brothers and Sisters,

I have received many messages of support from the community .

It is very encouraging to know that I have your support and I thank you from the bottom of my heart to put that trust and confidence in me

The trustees have done the same to co-opt me in and I have stepped up to accept the trustee and chairs role .
This is a huge responsibility both legally and in terms of work to be done to plug the holes or deficiencies we all know about .

Of course there are many expectations and things to do but I will try to do them to the best of my ability and help move things forward in a good way In Shaa Allah .
Starting with this message , we will improve our communications and transparency .
We will also build a motivated and skilled team and processes and systems in place that addresses not just immediate needs but also the needs of the future when the New Masjid comes online إن شاء الله .

Please bear with me and the whole BOT team who have done a lot of work in the background .
We will In Shaa Allah address all things to bring stability and steer the ship in the right direction.

Some things are easy and others will take a bit of time to do things properly so please bear in mind.

If anyone has constructive suggestions for improvements or even a concern please help us to find solutions.

You can contact me or Br Irfan at any time to discuss further.
I will always listen to you and will make the time for the community إن شاء الله

Humbly request your Duas for successful outcomes

Jazāk Allāhu Khayran.

Ajaib,
Chair KMWA
