Brick by Brick Fundraiser – Help Us Finish Our New Masjid

🕌 The New Masjid Needs You – Donate This Ramadan

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْم

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Alhamdulillah, today we are relaunching our fundraising campaign for the New Gillingham Masjid with renewed energy and determination, insha’Allah.

There is no better time than Ramadan – every good deed is multiplied, every pound given carries the weight of hundreds, and every brick of this Masjid becomes a sadaqah jariyah that will outlast us all.

You can contribute in three ways:
💳 Donate immediately — any amount, however small
🤝 Pledge as a family — make it a collective act of worship
📅 Set up a monthly contribution — consistent giving, consistent reward

This Masjid belongs to our community. Let us finish what we started, together- and show the world that the Muslims of Medway stand united, generous, and full of faith.

Please share this with your family and friends, near and far. Every share, every donation and every dua brings us one step closer, insha’Allah. 🤲

🕌 Children Welcome at Eid Prayers – A New Chapter for KMWA

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْم

Eid is a celebration for the whole Ummah – and that includes our youngest members.

We are pleased to announce that KMWA has lifted the previous restriction on children aged 5 and under attending Eid prayers. All children are now warmly and wholeheartedly welcome to join their families at Gillingham Mosque for Eid Salah, insha’Allah.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young ones.”
Our children are the future of this community and there is no more fitting place for them than standing alongside their families in the house of Allah ﷻ on the most joyful days of the Islamic calendar.

We ask parents to keep little ones close and to be mindful of other worshippers during prayers, but let there be no doubt – your children belong here, and we look forward to celebrating Eid together as one community, young and old.

May Allah ﷻ bless our children, grant them love for the Masjid from an early age, and unite our community in joy this Eid.

عِيدٌ مُبَارَكٌ – Eid Mubarak in advance to you all 🌙

A Fresh Start – New Carpets at Gillingham Mosque

🕌 Alhamdulillah – New Carpets at Gillingham Mosque

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْم

We are delighted to share that Gillingham Mosque has been blessed with brand new carpets, Alhamdulillah.

This project was made possible entirely through the generosity of our community. Every contribution -whether given at Jummah, by bank transfer, or quietly and anonymously -came together to make this a reality. May Allah ﷻ accept from each and every one of you and reward you abundantly in this life and the next.

A heartfelt Jazākum Allāhu Khayran to all our donors, volunteers, and community members who supported this initiative. You are the heart of this Masjid.

Fresh carpets beneath our feet as we stand before Allah ﷻ in prayer – may this be more than just a renovation. May it be a symbol of renewal, unity and positive change for KMWA and our community. We begin this new chapter with gratitude, with hope, and with a firm commitment to continuing to improve and serve our community in the best way possible, insha’Allah.

The doors of Gillingham Mosque are open. Come, pray, and feel at home.
