Dear brothers and sisters,

Allāh ﷻ says in the Noble Qur’ān:

“Indeed, Allāh commands you to render trusts to whom they are due, and when you judge between people, to judge with justice.” — Sūrah al-Nisā’ (4:58)

In keeping with this divine command, the KMWA Board of Trustees has set out the following rules and procedures to ensure that the Trustee Election on Sunday, 17th May 2026 is conducted with transparency, fairness, and integrity, in shā’Allāh.

These guidelines cover eligibility to vote, the nomination process, and conduct on election day. We kindly ask all members – whether standing as candidates, voting, or simply attending – to read them carefully so that the process runs smoothly and reflects the values of our community.

May Allāh ﷻ guide our affairs, bless this election, and grant success to those who will best serve His house and His servants. Āmīn.

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “The best of people are those who are most beneficial to people.” (Reported by al-Ṭabarānī, ḥasan)

We are pleased to announce that nominations for the KMWA Board of Trustees elections are now officially open, in shā’Allāh. Four Trustee positions will be elected by the membership at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on Sunday, 17th May 2026.

Serving as a Trustee is both an amānah (sacred trust) and a profound opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of the masjid, the welfare of our community, and the legacy we leave behind for the next generation, in shā’Allāh.

If you feel called to serve – or know someone in our community who would serve with sincerity, wisdom, and dedication – we warmly invite you to come forward.

All praise is due to Allāh ﷻ, and may His peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ, his family, and his companions.

Following the KMWA Board of Trustees meeting held on 2nd April 2026, we are pleased to announce that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the Election of Four New Trustees will take place, in shā’Allāh, on:

🤝 Annual General Meeting – 17:30 to 19:00

📝 What Happens Next

Further details regarding nomination forms and the election process will be shared with the community in the coming days, in shā’Allāh. We warmly encourage all eligible members to participate – whether by standing for election, casting their vote, or attending the AGM to hear about the work of your Association over the past year.

This is a blessed opportunity for our community to come together, reflect on what we have achieved by the Mercy of Allāh ﷻ, and shape the path forward for KMWA.
