Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wo barakatuhu.

The KidsMWA Spring nature trek was enjoyed in good weather on Sunday afternoon on 30th April in Riverside County Park, Lower Rainham.

The treks which occur during each season help us to experience the changing environment and wildlife with each season and help us to appreciate the creations of Allah subhana wa ta’ala through the changes that we see.

If you would like to join the group on future Treks, there will be one organised each season in shah Allah and so watch out for the Summer Trek announcements later on in the year.

Dear Gillingham Mosque Community Members,

Peace and blessings be upon you all!

There will be a 5th Eid Jamaat at 11am at Gillingham Mosque.

We hope this message finds you and your families in good health and high spirits during this auspicious occasion of Eid.

We are truly grateful for the overwhelming response and enthusiasm we have received from our community members to attend the Eid prayers at Gillingham Mosque. As a result of the unprecedented numbers arriving for the 10am prayer, we have decided to organize an additional 5th Eid Jamaat at 11am to accommodate everyone comfortably and safely.

We have had some great Kids Activities this winter with the creative smoke art activity in November; braving the cold in January for the winter walk to take in the diversity of nature in the winter and appreciate the changing seasons; and helping to provide homes for the birds by making bird boxes to put up in our gardens.
