Ramadan Mubarak: The Moon Has Been Sighted🌙

Alhamdulillah, the blessed month of Ramadan has officially begun. As we enter this season of mercy and forgiveness, we invite the entire community to join us for the first night of prayers.

Taraweeh Announcement

InshaAllah, Taraweeh prayers will be commencing from tonight, 17th February 2026, at Gillingham Mosque.

• Time: Immediately following Isha Prayer at 7:30 PM.
• Location: 114 Canterbury St, Gillingham ME7 5UH.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a complete recitation of the Quran scheduled throughout this holy month. We encourage every member of our community to make every effort to attend and complete the Taraweeh prayers in congregation.

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:

“Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. Whoever stands in prayer during the Night of Decree due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” — (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1901)

Let us use this opportunity to reset our intentions and seek the immense rewards promised to us during these sacred nights.
